Resumo: The Primary and Nursery School is situated in suburbs of a town in the East Region of the Czech Republic.

The buildings of the nursery school and the primary school are just 300 meters away from each other. In the buildings of primary and nursery schools there is a director's office, dining room, kitchen, classrooms equipped with computers with an internet access, gym and play-rooms for all kind of activities, which our volunteer would use.

For better orientation for volunteers: distance from larger cities such as Brno - accessibility about 70 km, Prague - the accessibility about 180 km.

Not far from Pardubice are situated Iron Mountain, which can be used to ride a bike or walk to.

Perfil: - positive relationship to children,
- not require experience in working with children,
- creative,
- friendly,
- initiative and communicative.

Tarefas: - The volunteer will work under the guidance of teachers with children aged 3-7 years.
- She/he will participate in organizing events for the school and the public.

Volunteer´s work is primarily in the nursery school, but could be a great advantage if there is a connection with the elementary school.

Horário: 8.00 - 8.30
help clean up toys and other aids, getting kids ready for snack

8.30 - 9.00
assist to children who require help with meals

9.00 - 10.00
assist to a teacher with controlled activities, preparation of equipment, supervision of children at work in groups, helping children to gaming activities and art work (cutting, gluing, painting, pulling out shapes from paper, working with strings and wires, work with the dough , ceramic materials, modeling clay, etc.), assist in teaching games, the games that develop fine and gross motor skills, mathematical imagination, right-left, spatial orientation, etc.

10.00 - 11.30 assist children in dressing, assist with walking in the country, assist children in trips, visits to theater, play time in the garden

11.30 - 12.15
assist children in taking off their outdoor exercise clothes, tidy up the clothes
lunch - assist to children with food, help with hygiene of children

12.15 -14.00
prepare aids for continued activities, prepare other props to non school action, setting up children's work in portfolios, to help decorate nursery rooms, administrative activities as needed

14.00 - 14.30
help children in changing after resting, tidy up sleeping beds, assist to children who need help with eating

Condições: Working hours of the volunteer is 6 hours a day, Monday - Friday, half an hour each day for lunch break, 35 hours per week (lunch option directly in the organization). 2 days of holiday each month + off on all public holidays.

Volunteers will be given access to the Internet - personal and business needs.
Accommodation for volunteer: 1 room + possibility for cooking.

We are open for volunteer´s activities at all events, school projects, nursery projects and after-school clubs (our activities - Future profession, Roma flames, I got it, Money in the family, Differences that unite us, Safe on the road, Healthy Days, excursions, thematic instruction, Clubs - English, gymnastics, majorettes, Roma dances, sports games, board games, public events).
As a support to a volunteer we will introduce him/her to some of our staff´s families and we will be very happy to arrange a welcoming party for our volunteers with volunteers from the maternity center called Krucek which we corporate with.
