Resumo: The heart of organization is our café, a place where young people can spend time with their friends. In the café we have a stage for music and art performances. We inspire our visitors to arrange concerts, lectures, fashion shows, poetry slams, dance shows, theatrical plays, debates and all kinds of performances. For some years, environmental awareness has been an important part of the way we run our café.

Our staff and a lot of our visitors are aware and interested in helping the environment, and wherever possible we try to sell fair trade and organic products in our café. We bake some of our cakes ourselves so that we can use organic and ethically sourced ingredients.

All of our premises and activities are drug free.
Our target group is young people aged between 15 and 20, but the audience for the concerts, shows and exhibitions can vary in age. Some of the projects and activities we have are organised by the young people that come here, others are organised by the association.

Young people come to the association to participate in many different cultural activities: theatre groups, dance groups, the movie club, workshops, yoga, to learn more about EVS, and of course some just come to have a cup of tea.

Perfil: - interest in culture: dance, music, theatre, art, poetry, movies, or performing arts
- open-minded, creative and able to use her or his skills in the area of culture
- interested in non formal learning to realise their ideas and projects and to help other young people to do the same.
- We are looking for volunteers that will stay for 10-12 months.
- Age: 18 to 30 years old

Tarefas: Our volunteers are treated as regular staff at the host organization and their opinions and ideas are considered to be just as important.

- helping our visitors to arrange concerts, art exhibitions, poetry evenings, creative workshops, debates, culture duels or quizzes, outdoor culture festivals, and any art that can take place on a small stage
- arrange movie nights in our cinema and workshops in different topics, for example: theatre, stage fighting, writing poetry or re-designing clothes
- participate in Open City Hall together with the youth representatives working in the municipality of the city
- we push and encourage our volunteers to start projects of their own, either to develop the skills they already possess or to learn new ones.

The volunteers will have a mentor at the association. That mentor will on a regular basis meet with the volunteers, make plans and follow ups during the whole stay and show them the youth pass site. When they participate in different projects or activities there will be other staff members helping and inspiring them.

Condições: Our volunteers will share an apartment. There are three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, one bathroom with a toilet, a toilet and some cupboards. There is a TV, a DVD, a computer, a microwave and all equipment needed in a kitchen.
Every room is furnished and every volunteer that has lived there has made it a bit cosy.

On the 25th of every month food and pocket money will be paid to the volunteer's Swedish accounts. It is the volunteers own responsibility to arrange for food every day.

Formação: Our volunteers have the luxury of having a private teacher in Swedish.
