Resumo: This project is situated in a city of Slovakia. The city has aproximately 500 000 inhabitants. The city is a center of bussiness in Slovakia, and there are also situated many international companies.

Our organization is one of several church communities situated in the town. We are connected with local Roman Catholic Church, so there is quite strong religious environment present in our project.

We have only one paid employee, who is the boss of organisation. All other people in the organisation are volunteers, who are helping only when they have free time (as every volunteer). Therefore we need EVS volunteer to be "right hand" of the boss. The Boss is organising events in the center, managing volunteers, managing PR, marketing and fundraising and except of this, she has to clean the toilets sometimes and go around the city to hand out posters and leaflets. So we need somebody, who is ready to help also with bad work like cleaning toilets (don’t worry, we don’t have that many toilets in the center)

Perfil: - somebody with religious background (ideally catholic). It is not necessary to be a catholic,
- ideally 20-25 years old
- english at least on B2 level.
- someone ready to help in everything that is needed.
- somebody with specific skills, so he can contribute to the center. For example: graphic designer (so he/she can help with designing leaflets), dancer (so he/she can lead dancing workshop), somebody good in handcrafts (he/she can do handcraft workshop), church worker (he/she can lead some church group),...

Tarefas: - After some time spent in our organisation, they will be given the responsibility in the field of their interest. (Cafeteria, art workshops, promotion, working with church groups, interreligious activities,...)
- to help in cafeteria (cca. 3 times per week): preparing and serving several types of coffee, hot chocolates, soft drinks, washing the dishes, navigating visitors through community center, keeping eyes on bad behaving visitors, solving unpredictable situation (with the help of Slovak co-volunteer)
- help with cleaning of our center (once a week) – cleaning the floor, cleaning the sidewalk in front of center from snow (in winter), big cleaning of dishes, making the rubbish bin empty, watering flowers,...
- help with promotion of our activities: designing and distributing leaflets. Taking pictures from activities in the center. Maintaining the website and facebook pages.

Tasks and activities of their choice:

- to create and lead art workshop sessions : if a volunteer feels good in handcrafts, he/she can lead a workshop of his/her own choice.
- promote EVS programme: meetings with high school and university students, doing blog about his/her EVS experience, organise one bigger event to promote EVS and youth in Action programme.
- church group work and interreligious projects: volunteer can work with group of other EVS volunteers or Erasmus students, that are having some religious needs. It could be reading from a bible, meditation, discussion, practical help to needy people.
- intercultural activities : he/she can organise series of international events – inviting other EVS volunteers in Bratislava to talk about their cultures and countries. There can be presented : traditional music and dances, meals, interesting places to see, cultural and language differences,...
- working in University pastoral center: he/she can lead a workshop in University pastoral center, which is always full of university students. The workshop can be the same as in our center.

Horário: The working time will be divided approximately into two halves: being the right hand of the boss and helping with not interesting, but necessary tasks and the second half will be about using specific skills of volunteers - leading some workshops or doing some other projects...
Once upon a time, volunteer will be asked to work during the weekends
