Resumo: The Nature park is creating a green belt in an otherwise built area and it is located in the most beautiful part of the south region. The nature park is open to staff and vounteers who work there and also to visitors and schools with which we organize events.

• No residents live in the nature reserve
• The closest accomodation would either be in the same village as the nature reserve or in an apartment in the central part of the island, since through our experience we have realised that most youths would prefer to live in the central part of the island in order to be able to commute better.
• The social conditions of this area are very normal, it is a working class area and very safe to live and work in.

As a non-governmental organization we would like to bring this possibility to all volunteers around the world to let them experince volunteering in the unique Mediterian island of Malta.

We wish to acquire, share good practices and contribute towards new intercultural impacts and gain different views of young creative minds to further our gained knowledge and experince, which would be shared by all volunteers on the nature reserve.

Our main objective is to provide all the facilities available at our nature reserve and share the gained experience with those who are willing to learn and discover new environmental and agriculture ways of planting, farming and various type of plant treatments.

- who have a passion for environmetaly thinking and active volunteering.
- who are outgoing and ready to learn hands on about ecological sustainable farming practises,
- who have a passion for working in an organic research farm and nature reserve
- have an interest in biodiversity and with education in sciences, environment or agriculture.

Tarefas: . Working in the Nature Reserves
. Working on Environmental Education
. Office and Administration work

A typical week will be as follows:
Monday: Watering of plants, trees. | Planting of seeds, cuttings
Tuesday: Preparation of organic manure. | Weeding
Wednesday: Research on environmental issues and ongoing environemntal projects | NGO general administration, namely production of power points, videos and other grafic work in the office
Thrusday: Maintanance of trees | Planting of trees
Friday: Watering of plants, trees. | Preparation of land for planting of trees

Horário: The Volunteers are expected to contibute to 30 hours per week voluntary work
