Resumo: Our project will take place in The Youth Day Care Centre.
Part of tasks will be routine and other part - different work tasks depends on the abilities and intentions of the volunteer. Volunteers will work as assistant during the activities with mentally disabled youngsters.

Perfil: - full of ideas and will like to share them with mentally disabled youngsters: working, playing and simply being together, breaking down barriers and taking on challenges
- to be open mind and to understand disabled people.

Tarefas: - to familiarize with Youth Day Care Centre, users, their families and staff;
- to be active helper in social daily work at institution;
- to build the good relationships with Youth Day Care Centre users and staff;
- to organize different social activities in Youth Day Care Centre: sports, handicraft, cooking, IT, ceramic, housekeeping and etc.
- to organize activities outside of institution: mini zoo, festivals;
- to represent his/her country, culture and traditions;
- to familiarize with Lithuanian culture and traditions;
- to organize English language discussion club with staff;
- to organize English language discussion club with users;
- to learn Lithuanian language;
- to participate in extra activity events, cognitive trips and parties together with Youth Day Care Centre users and staff.

Horário: Volunteers will work 5 days per week maximum 6 hours per day.
Weekends and national days will be free. During the 10 month project volunteers will have 20 days of holiday (2 days per month). We are very flexible about holiday time.

Condições: Volunteers do not need to change any money before arrival. Credit carts (Visa, Master, Maestro, and Visa Electron) are valid here. First week on arrival we will make Lithuanian bank card for each volunteer. To this card we will transfer volunteer's pocket money monthly. Volunteers get food money in cash.

The accommodation - apartment with sharing living room and separate rooms for each volunteer.

It is internet access in accommodation place, but no computer. It is possible to use computers at Day Centre. Volunteers will have in accommodation place everything they need. In winter it could be cold outside. So worm coat and shoe will be needed. Friends or family could visit volunteer and stay for some days in accommodation place. But it is school building. So it is not allowed to make big noise at night time and not smoke or use alcohol in territory. And it is important to respect privacy of other volunteers.
