Resumo: Since Latvia joined EU the main accents of Club activities are put on the Latvia's integration in the Europe and youth information field (information for young person’s about their possibilities in the EU) as well as promoting civil society. Our main activities are for young people, age 15-25 - high school and higher educational institution students, it corresponds to the age of the members of Club.

Volunteers will work in mostly in the office of Club in cooperation with members of the organization. Main activities of the organization are organizing seminars, camps, lectures, discussions and street actions, encouraging young people to be active citizens of Latvia and European Union.

The Club work with projects that are mainly organized by the board and supported by approximately 20 young volunteers very active in the organization, participating in meetings and daily work of the office. One of the most important tasks of The Club is to inform and to educate young people about their opportunities to participate in different programmes and activities, as well to help them to realize themselves as part of Europe.

We believe that the best way how to show this is with a real example - a story from a person who has experienced some of the opportunities and who can share his experience and cultural background is better understandable than just a theory. For this reason we are planning to offer EVS volunteers to share their experience and point of view with other young people in Latvia.

Perfil: - interested in European Union and youth exchange programs, EVS field,
- open minded
- willing to promote the idea of the united Europe, such as democracy, pluralism, tolerance and human rights
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: One possibility for volunteers is to participate in work with the European Clubs that are meeting places for Latvian high school students, interested in themes concerning European Union. Volunteers will help to educate and involve them by informing about different programmes and possibilities to realize their projects, as well as discussing about different cultures and European values and preparing presentations and trainings about topics concerning Europe.

1. Regular activities:
- Participation in regular activities such as Europe Day celebration and Tea evenings as well as organizing them;
- Participation in regular meetings - board, project organizing team meetings;
- Office work in part of organisation's office working hours.

2. Activities for preparing presentations and trainings:
- Collecting actual information (internet, partners websites, European Union Information Agency library) about different issues, connected with presentation (EU countries, EU opportunities and values) and also interesting for young people;
- Preparing of the visual material (presentation, slide videos) and handouts;
- Participation in collecting different games (simulation games, energizers, ice-breaking games, etc.) that will be used as an information material for youngster leading lectures and workshops in the future work of Club.

3. The collaboration in different information material preparation about the organisation and its projects:
- Supplementing homepage with actual information and new sections;
- Helping by creating new materials about organisation and projects.
