Resumo: Our project aims involvement EVS volunteers in our community to integrate families, youth and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Perfil: - aged between 18-30 years,
- willing to learn new things, and to face multiculturalism,
- Willing to work in a team,
- able to assume and carry out the responsibilities in a set period of time,
- communicative, active, detached, optimistic and eager to turn their abilities into skills,
- eager to help young people and families in need;
- Young voluneer who comes from from peripheral regions with fewer opportunities;

Tarefas: The EVS project will develop two activities:

The first objective of the project is aimed at promoting the European Voluntary Service in order to develop skills and competencies to improve the quality of life for young people with fewer opportunities coming from disadvantaged environments (geographic, economic, social, etc.) throughout activities and specific events. To achieve this we propose to organize the following activities:

• The Caravan for promotion EVS in the countryside, outside the town, for young people with fewer opportunities;
• A campaign to promote EVS in the online environment;
• Opening of two EVS information points;

The second objective of the project concerns the increasing integration into the community of those children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through specific volunteering activities. In order to achieve this we propose to organizate the following activities:

• Educational activities for children, young people and families from disadvantaged backgrounds to integrate into the community
• Activities to integrate children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in public education
• Awareness activities for families, children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds on civic education, ethics, and community
• Fundraising activities to support other activities aimed to help families, children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds
• Informational activities on how to increase the quality of life among the families belonging to disadvantaged backgrounds
• Informative activities to develop families, children and young people with fewer opportunities, from an economical and social point of view.
• Social and community integration activities for young people, children and families in economic and social distress
• Support activities for families, teenagers, children belonging to disadvantaged backgrounds
