Resumo: working in a youth center

Tarefas: We ask the volunteer to promote his/her country, Europe, its record, its experience of volunteer, to give the desire to the young people from Saintes to travel, to be interested to go to Europe for discovering other cultures.

Our proposition

. To Participate in the animation of the Service of International Mobility in link with the professional, by helping in the implementation of actions of information, animations on Europe
To make its residential country known with the young people who frequent our structure, its culture, the ways of life of the young people of its country.

. Participate in the other services of our structure if the volunteer has affinities with the social and professional inclusion, the prevention.

. Participate in activities organized by associations of our territory, for cultural, artistic, sporting, humanitarian events.

Examples of activities :

realization of
- window information about an European theme
- Participation in collective information on the EVS
- Individual meetings of young people interested in the EVS.
- Preparation of animations within the framework of the European day (in May 9th)
- Participation in the preparation of saintes' cavalcade, in the festival of current music the fan-shaped ears, participation for the actions of restos du coeur (restos of the heart)

Condições: The volunteer will live in a Young Worker Residence in colocation with 2 others young people, there are flats, with and individual bedroom and a lounge, the kitchen and the bathroom are shared.

There are houses rules in the residence, the main points are : it's forbidden to host a person beyond 23 hours, no drug and no alcohol above 12 degrees.
