Resumo: To bring a smile on kids face!

Perfil: We need motivated volunteers devoted to work with kids, with strong believe in non-formal methods of education and its popularizing through e-learning channels.

Open minded attitudes, willing to learn a new language and discover a new culture is also very important.

Tarefas: - organizing weekly workshops with Romanian kids from disadvantaged families (social, economic, cultural, geographical, ethnic, unemployment of the parents, etc.) in cooperation with local partner organisations from Arad area

Using non-formal methods of education like non-verbal communication at the beginning, the volunteers will have several themes to choose from:
- Organizing small group courses: language, music, art, computer, sports etc.
- Educational trips (within Arad’s city area), the program will include pre-departure activities, the activity of individual participants during the tours and lectures summarizing the trip.
- Organization of national
holidays in the local community, birthdays and other celebrations.
- Participation in competitions and workshops, especially those that promote knowledge about Romania, shaping civic attitudes.
- Training on the safety of children at the playgrounds, on the road etc.
