Resumo: Objective: the project has as main objective the personal development of the volunteers, including growth in areas such as communication skills, deeper understanding of the concept of mutual acceptance and tolerance, time management skills, planning and organizing events, team-work related skills , creativity and innovation etc; at the same time at the community level, the project aims at promoting volunteering in general and the European Voluntary Service in particular;

Tarefas: . organize the 2013 edition of the National Volunteer Week. This will take place between 13 and 20 of may 2013.

. The volunteers will organise 4 public events or concrete volunteering actions during the National Volunteer Week. Just to give you an idea, the previous editions of the Week included: fair for NGOs working with volunteers, Volunteer’s parade, cleaning actions for picnic areas around the city, workshops for chilren, Share your skill event, etc.

. The start of the volunteering stage will be dedicated to getting to know the local community

. Besides this, the volunteers will be offered support in implementing their own „personal projects” in the local community (ensuring at the same time that the activities of the project will not be disturbed by the „personal projects”).
