Resumo: The project of hosting of the voluntary EVS, will develop inside the Centre Youth Information and of the Europe Direct Point of the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi.
Our daily efforts are finalized, in fact, to guarantee information that are punctual, adjourned, legible, clear, and synthetic, in order to allow the use of the opportunities for young people.
The Centre Youth Information and the Europe Direct Point are situated inside locals. They are endowed with nine Personal Computers all with connection to internet ADSL FLAT; four are reserved to the people. Besides, the town administration makes all the tools and the useful material to the good operation of the services available (three telephone lines, a line fax, photocopier, scanner, other materials, etc.).
Tarefas: The volunteers will gradually involve, collaborate and they will also help the operators and the persons responsible in all the typical and daily activities of the two services:
1. back-office operations:
- filing of documents, updating websites of Youth Information Office and Point Europe Direct also produces web pages in their native language),
- production of newsletters and email;
- The volunteers also will also be involved in analyzing, with the members of the cooperative, the utility, convenience, responsiveness of the information to the needs of young people,
- updating Web sites with pages in their native language, both in the Youth Information and Europe Direct point web sites and also in the website of "thousand questions, one Europe"
2. front-office tasks:
- Welcome customers
- First Information
- Question Analysis
- Listening
- Answering questions
- Call center
- Customer surveying and monitoring
3. To design / implement issues related to brochures in Italian and / or in other languages (mother tongue of the volunteer or English if possible)
4. Interventions info / territory training initiatives, seminars, workshops, info day among the activities of the two services is to promote interventions info / training, throughout the province to reach young people where they are in schools but also in neighbourhoods and streets.

- collaboration in the distribution thereof,
- implementation and promotion of initiatives,
5. Help Desk Information: Our center has set up two information Help Desk: one reserved for the young, the other to schools.
- The Helpdesk is designed to guide young people to submit projects under the EU Youth in Action.
- The Help Desk School is reserved both to institutions and individual teachers and / or directors, which have innovative ideas and would like to start a school partnership under the bilateral or multilateral Comenius and Grundtvig Programme
The Coop. Lo spazio delle idee will give to the volunteer’s general formation on Italian culture, language, and customs. They will have daily reunions with the mentor, who will also monitor the project and support them in situations of crisis or potential conflicts.
Horário: The Office is open from Monday to Friday from 8, 30 to 13, 30 and the Tuesday and Thursday from 15, 30 to 18, 30 (31hours per week).
On Monday or on Wednesday, there will be meetings to coordinate and plan the activities (both from the volunteers and from the operators) and to value the activities developed by all the operators.
