Resumo: Our Cooperative School is offering Secondary and Initial Vocational Training Courses (formal education), providing counseling to youngsters specially to those with fewer opportunities (mentoring and coaching), sending, hosting and coordinating European volunteers (Action 2 of YIA), directing and tutoring Erasmus and Leonardo Projects, spreading youth information, coordinating European educational forum, directing, facilitating and training about Youth in Action projects and other international activities through our Youth Association “Plataforma de Alumnos”. The main principle for all activity in our School is to give the youngsters skills and knowledge they will need in society and in their further studies. This is achieved by good quality standard education, by enforcing individuality and self-esteem as well as physical and mental welfare. Using and developing new educational methods and offering the youngsters a wider European as well as an international perspective on their studies are important at our Cooperative School. Our European Volunteers are giving an extraordinary European value to the Youth Association and to the School itself
