Resumo: This organization is dedicated to fighting homophobia and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Our main ongoing project is focused on education and advocacy for health and human rights of LBT women. All our projects and activities are related to non-discrimination and LGBT peoples rights.

Perfil: - be fluent in English;
- have great computer and communication skills;
- experience in editing (especially web page editing) is desirable;
- Be between 18 and 30 years old;
- Be highly motivated and creative.

Tarefas: Through international communication activities volunteer will make LGBT people and their problems more visible to the
international institutions, organizations and general public.

Volunteer will be helping on communication activities aimed to strengthen and develop international communication and cooperation and also coordinate activities related to Baltic Pride 2013 in Vilnius (communication with organizers, updating information on the webpage).

Activities are mostly related to information and communication: - developing ideas for own project on youth work. It is up to volunteer to bring in own ideas and initiatives.
- creation of Facebook and Twitter account;
- regular update of information in our websites
- help on communication and exchange of information with international organizations and partners,
- help on correspondence, replying to requests from international partners;
- data collection;
- coordination of activities related to upcoming Baltic Pride 2012, including communication with organizers, updating information of the webpage, organization of Lithuanian delegation’s trip to the event;
- developing ideas for future projects and activities.

Horário: Working hours:
8 hours per day (from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m), 5 days per week (from Monday to Friday).

Holidays and days off:
Weekends usually free, but could happen that volunteer has to participate in some national or international events and training courses.

Volunteer is free afterwards.

The volunteer will have holidays according to his/her time of service plus Easter holidays and other holidays under Lithuanian labour law.

Condições: Two EVS volunteers will share one flat.
Each volunteer will be provided with a separate room.
Travel/food/accommodation/other expenses – compensated by the project

Formação: Lithuanian language courses will be provided at local education institution.
