Resumo: The project will take place in our integrative kindergarten located in the 19th district, Kreindlgasse 9. It is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During all the month of August it´s closed. Our kindergarten is part of the “Institut Keil foundation”, whose goal is the integration of persons with handicaps in the society on different levels: education (kindergarten, primary school), formations for young adults with special needs, flat-sharing communities, work, etc.

Perfil: The volunteer should like to work with children and be open-minded concerning children with special needs.

Tarefas: The volunteer may learn how to handle with disabled children and get the opportunity to make a formation according to the knowledge of A. Petö and H.Keil in our institute.

His/her role is to bring informations about his culture and mother tongue to the children in a simply way (playing, reading, singing, showing specific things of his country like pictures, clothes or games, cooking simply meals with the children, talking about specific festivals and celebrating them with the children, etc).

Horário: Our daily schedule:
8:00-10:00: breakfast, free games, specific acitivities with or without montessori materials in small
groups
10:00: songs and games for all the group
10:30-12:00: free activities in our garden
12:00: lunch
13:00-14:30: free games, specific activities with montessori materials in small groups
14:30: light meal
15:00-16:00: free activities outside (garden) or inside
