Resumo: We are the Richter foundation from a coastal town with 60.000 inhabitants called Den Helder in the North of our country.

The Richter foundation is a non-profit organisation run by a team of professionals in the field of arts, cultural work and with an educational background. Richter's aim is to bring young people together and to make them aware of the many possibilities on a national and international level. Our foundation would like to improve international relations between youths and to let them explore and create an understanding of each other's cultures.

Perfil: * It would be nice when the volunteer can speak the English language;
* The volunteer should be enthusiastic to work with foreign people (open minded);
* The volunteer is interested in working with multi media and art;
* It would be nice to have someone who is socially skilled;
* We look for someone with a high state of self activity.

Tarefas: The project offers you the chance to work in an organisation that runs an active art gallery.

This gallery is more than a place for exhibitions alone. It is an atelier where artists not only exhibit but also can live and work. It’s also a place where young people come together to plan international projects.

You could be working in this place for five months. You will be working in the daily routine of the gallery, but you will be also working on your own exhibition.

During the period you stay in our town you get the chance to work on your art and to show your art, whatever that may be. Besides this you get the chance to help us out organizing an international theatre festival, youth exchange and coaching a group of young volunteers.

Be prepared for a lot of work and a lot of fun.

Condições: During the project you will be living in the so-called Eurohouse. This is the house where we have our office, art gallery and house for our international team of volunteers. In the house you find everything you need for a comfortable live.

The house is located in the middle of the city centre so all facilities such as shops, cinema, library and bars are just round the corner. For all further transport we will provide you with the most typically Dutch mean of transport; a bike.
