Resumo: Youth center was established with the idea of production of cultural programs in local communities, promotion of it and most important for the promotion of youth culture in general.

We have been working with new media for promotion for greater effect. Interest in new media is also increasing among the youth (talking mainly about videos, multimedia projects). We conducted projects, where we combined informal education of new media and their usage.

For this project we want to focus on using social networks for individuals and NGOs. We're talking about the possibilities of use, upgrading basic platforms, interactive content. We want for this social media to work better for individuals and their promotion and upgrading their social networks and also for all non-governmental organizations, associations and informal groups for promoting their program for youth. In this context we would emphasize safety and intended use of this kind of media. We would combine the organizations and individuals to work in an intergenerational environment. We want the older participants, whose major interest is using such media to promote their youth programs, share their understanding, experience and knowledge about using this kind of media and about how to protect yourself from bad experiences. Young people will have more experiences about upgrading platforms.

Since videos are a big part of new media, we would have a workshop about documentary videos and on the other hand about experimental videos. The project also includes a workshop for youngsters. They would use new media and together make a multimedia exhibition. We feel it is very important that young people are able to express themselves through art and new media. Project also includes EVS volunteer to be a part of the team that is dealing with the program that youth center has and to promote it.

Perfil: - likes working with the young and masters;
- basics of English, for easier communication;
- social touch;
- delight in team work;
- the desire for new contacts with the young;
- the desire of gaining experience in the field of carrying out workshops and generally work with the youth are the recommended key personal qualities of a volunteer, since only in this way he will successfully fit in, work and learn something in our organization.

Tarefas: EVS volunteer should prepare workshops that include:
- learning the language,
- music,
- food,
- presenting things about their country and people.

All the things should be from the country that volunteers come from.

Working with the team of volunteers from Youth center and other participants on the workshops. Learning things about Slovenia, including the language (at least the basics).
Also learning things about the countries that other volunteers come from.

Horário: - The work of the volunteers will be going on partly in the morning, but also partly in the afternoon;

- we will ensure the volunteer time to rest between work and work-free days according to the current legislation and EVS rules,

Formação: The volunteers will have the possibility to use their own ideas for projects, organizing and executing them, which will improve their leadership and organizational skills. They will also learn several communication skills through work with youths and improve their knowledge of the Slovene language.
