Resumo: The main aim of Isla CreActiva is to reach a personal development of the young people as well as to promote their active citizenship in local and international level by no formal education activities. We completely share the values promoted by the programme the Youth in Action (YiA) such as tolerance, solidarity and cooperation, and each of our actions is based on them.
Isla Creactiva is a new NGO and still hasn´t been in involved in the EVS, but there are some ex- volunteers of this YiA action in our stuff. Thanks to that, we perfectly know the qualities that a good EVS project should have and by own experience we have got to know the positive impact for the volunteer and the local community that is provoked by the EVS.
We are highly motivated to participate in the EVS programme because our aims and objectives (as outlined above) fit perfectly with those of EVS. By now there is a low participation in the YiA actions in the Canary Islands, even more, because there of the low number of EVS projects, there are difficulties to reach an EVS volunteer place in the Canary Islands. That´s the reason why one of the most important priorities of Isla CreActiva as a sending organization is to work on the visibility and the participation of the Canary and foreign youth and ONG´s in the EVS and other actions of the YiA not only in the capital islands, but also in the rest of the archipelago.
By organizing seminars, meetings and personalized consultations, promotion in the web and other activities we will promote and hopefully increase the participation and youth mobility so that they get new disquietudes and new initiatives to develop their environment and to promote the tolerance in the world.
As a coordinating organization we want to develop the international cooperation and promote the hosting of the EVS volunteers in the local organizations that still doesn´t know this opportunity and it´s beneficial impact like lots of new initiatives and help in the work with the local youth.
Thanks to the previous wide experience of the members of Isla CreActiva, we are ready to help at any moment to the Canary associations and the collectives that would like to become a hosting organization of the EVS.

Tarefas: We are searching a highly motivated girl from an EU country to volunteer in playgrounds of chidren 3 – 14 y.o. (20 hours per week), prepare different workshops for the parents of the children (5 hours per week) and presentations of EVS for the local youngsters (5 hours per week) in Tenerife, Spain.
