Resumo: Our town is small and have 20 000 inhabitants. It is situated on the Southwest part of Macedonia, on the one of the oldest lakes in the world, Lake Ohrid. Our town is located on the banks of the Crn Drim (Black Drim) river. The river is the third largest river in Macedonia. It comes out form The Lake Ohrid, goes through Macedonia and flows in Adriatic Sea, in Albania.

Official languages are Macedonian and Albanian (according to the Macedonian constitution every ethnic group that has more than 20% of the population can use as official their mother tongue).

There are many Macedonian villages as: Jablanica, Lukovo, Nerezi, Draslajca, Moroishta, Vevchani, Vranishta, etc. Albanian villages as: Veleshta, Dolna Belica, Lidhija, Frengovo, Ladorishta, Kalishta, Zagracan, Dollogozhda etc there are Macedonian muslim (Torbesh) villages as: Podgorci, Oktisi, Labunishta etc. and also there are many other villages where together are living people from different religious, ethnical, cultural, national backgrounds.

We have two offices one in the city centre and the other one in village. Both of them are well equipped with computers, printer, and scanner, photocopy machine and also have good working conditions. The office in the city is placed just 15 minutes far by walk from the flat where the volunteers will be host. And to village there is a bus every one hour, the local bus station is also only 15 minutes by walk from the volunteers flat.

According to the project, volunteers will work in one or the other office for example the volunteers who will be working in creating a web page for promotion of involvement of rural area and promotion to wider knowledge towards rural development mostly will work in office in the city because they have to search in internet, prepare materials, go to action and later edit and montage of the video and putting them on web page.

Perfil: - highly motivated volunteers who would like to work in rural areas
- Willing to work with people of different ethnical/religious/social/political backgrounds.
- The volunteers should have any previous experience on rural areas.
- basic knowledge of English, French or German language.

The selection procedure will be in transparent way, after receiving the motivation letters we will arrange a Skype meeting where we will talk about their skills, motivation, knowledge etc. And after evaluating all of them we will decide whose profile is mostly corresponded to our requirements.

Tarefas: We are working on local, national and international activities and we are including youngsters from the local community. The EVS volunteer gives a higher value to the activities that are being carried out and the local youngsters are more motivated to work with people from abroad.

The volunteer will be introduced to the local community that he/she will be working with because in any kind of youth work in this area it is very important to know the local surrounding and the people. This will contribute to getting an idea on what it means to live in a village as well as a small area with 6 nationalities and 3 religions. It also helps to get an insight in problems of youth that live in the south-western part of Macedonia and especially in rural parts. EVS volunteers will receive full training needed for him/her to conduct the given tasks and also they won’t be left alone to perform their work.

He/she will be working with the group of youngsters which are living in rural and urban environment and their task will be:

- to create web page where will have promotion of involvement of rural area and promotion to wider knowledge towards rural development,
- promotion of Europe in rural environment and
- Creating a Youth Rural Development Centre.
