Resumo: Kirov Regional Public Organization "Russia-Poland" is a voluntary association, established on the principles of voluntariness. As a public organization we do not have a paid staff and our projects are implemented and financed by permanent members of the organization (according to the work plan). About 5 volunteers will be involved with EVS volunteers and other members on agreement.

The main aim of the organization is to promote a friendly good-neighborly relations based on mutual understanding and trust among Russian and Polish people. To develop and promote their cooperation in economy, science, culture, education, environment and tourism.

Perfil: All the candidates were presented to the hosting project and they selected a volunteer on the following criteria:
- volunteer from Poland;
- willing to do social work in Russia;
- being responsible person;
- good communicative skills;
- motivation to develop Polish-Russian collaboration between youth, cultural, educational organizations,
- some experience to work with children, teenagers and youth,
- readiness to learn Russian and to communicate in Russian;
- readiness to promote culture;
- motivation to do voluntary service and learn a lot from the project;
- some knowledge of Russian language.

Tarefas: The primary activities of the volunteers are:
1. Promotion Polish culture in the schools and university for children and youth;
2. Development good relationships between Russian and Polish youth;
3. Teaching children and youth Polish language by non-formal way;
4. Help the public organization “Russia-Poland” to find and develop common project between different organizations (cultural, educational, public) in Russia and Europe;
5. Help permanent volunteers in organization with technical tasks during different activities and events: Polish-Russian conferences, exhibitions, festivals, intercultural days and other public and cultural events;
6. Volunteers will have possibility to organize leisure time, workshops, and game process for children and youth in the schools and university where they will work and make presentations for youth about opportunities to participate in international voluntary projects including Youth in Action and other programmes of the European Comission;
7. Volunteers can be asked to help with translation Russian texts in Polish and Polish texts in Russian language;
8. During the summer period volunteers will have an opportunity to participate in the international workcamps organized by SFERA;
9. Also, volunteers will have opportunity to implement their own small projects with help of permanent volunteers in our organization.

Horário: Example of the typical working week of the volunteer:
Monday (09:00 – 10:00 planning for the week; 10:00 – 13:00 preparation time for lessons and presentations; 13:00 – 14:00 break, lunch time; 14:00 – 16:00 classes of Polish language for children and teenagers in school #47; 18:30 – 20:00 Russian language course)
Tuesday (10:00 – 13:00 preparation time for lessons and presentations; 13:00 – 14:00 break, lunch time; 14:00 – 17:00 classes of Polish language for children and teenagers in Linguistic gymnasium)
Wednesday (10:00 – 13:00 preparation time for lessons and presentations; 13:00 – 14:00 break, lunch time; 14:00 – 17:00 classes of Polish language for children and teenagers in school #47)
Thursday (10:00 – 13:00 preparation time for lessons and presentations/ classes of Polish language in the Vyatka state Humanitarian University (linguistic faculty); 13:00 – 14:00 break, lunch time; 14:00 – 17:00 classes of Polish language for children and teenagers in Linguistic gymnasium)
Friday (10:00 – 13:00 help for permanent volunteers in the office of the organization; 13:00 – 14:00 break, lunch time; 14:00 – 14:30 trip to the office; 14:30 – 18:30 time in the office (phone calls, Internet, meeting with coordinator, mentor, solving problems); 18:30 – 20:00 Russian language course)
Saturday and Sunday - weekend
It is just an example. Concrete plan will be made together with the volunteer after his/her arrival. The volunteer can be asked to work on Saturday and get second free day on Monday.
