Resumo: The volunteers job is to bring a international atmosphere into the youthcentre in order to wake interest in other cultures and different ways of life. In this case direct contacts and meetings with the young people from the European neighbourhood are imperative and useful. The volunteer is integrated in the educational team and will support the general pedagogic and organizational work in the youth centre. The tutor will look after the volunteer and will meet him regularly during his stay. The volunteer will also be supported by the team to be integrated in the project, the land and the culture.In the youth centre the volunteer has the opportunity to create an own project. He or she can discuss these own ideas with the youngsters. The work in the project will be orientated to the abilities and interests of the volunteer. He or she will take part in all activities of the youth centre.
Perfil: The volunteer should be communicative and not be frightened to get in contact with new people. He should have the ability to work in a team. It would be good, if the volunteer has experiences in the work with children und youngsters. Creativity, ideas and own initiative are desirable. Knowledge in the work with computers and the internet would be helpful. We are working together with every kind of sending organization. Organizations, which are working with children an youngsters would be advantageous.
Tarefas: Tasks:- to initiate an own project with the support of the team. - to be the person for the youngsters in the centre to turn to. - to offer freetime-activities. - to develop work with girls. There will also be work in the weekends. This times will be agreed with the volunteer in advance.
