Resumo: Oyuncak Kutuphanesi Dernegi (Toy Library Association) is a non-profit organization created by young volunteers independently from the government. Our association established in late 2012 on the infrastructure of the Toy Library – Ankara project. Ankara Toy Library is a long term social responsibility and local solidarity project that started September 2012 in Ankara in the scope of Action 1.2 Transnational Youth Initiatives. So as an NGO that has been accomplished via the EU budget in our local and national service we somehow promote Erasmus+ Programme. (We are also known as KalpAnkara EvGM which is our previous official name)
Since 2023 we also manage our private Kindergarten with an international team and we are being a model association in term of initiative and entrepreneurship in Turkey.

Tarefas: Information About the Project and Task Division
Volunteers are responsible for carrying out the project duties as described in the project description.
Contribute their time, energy, enthusiasm and leadership towards the aims and objectives of the project activities. Attend ESC training and meetings with partners.
Show flexibility in case of slight changes of the program that do not affect the goals of the project.
Hand all the travel documents in original to the project coordinator.
Inform the Sending Organization of special needs that could affect the project and agree on the information which can or should be forwarded (diet, illnesses for which precautions need to be taken).
The Toy Library Association is one of the most active organizations in the local community.
Thanks to the Ankara Toy Library project, we have gained nationwide attention and are now in the spotlight. The years 2015-2017 were particularly successful for us, with the Ankara Toy Library being recognized as a model youth organization on multiple occasions. As a result, our local volunteer team continues to grow and become more professional. Local media outlets, including TV, newspapers, and radio, are eager to cover our events and share our work with the broader public.

Responsibilities and tasks of the volunteer are explained below.
Knowledge and experience will be gained by working in different areas;
P.S. Some of the responsibilities and tasks might change because of the Pandemic conditions and/or force major situations such as earthquakes ect.

Volunteering Rules of our Association:
1- Supporting people we do not know.
2- Commitment and service-oriented mindset.
3- Non-profit mentality.
According to the 3 rules (determined by Ayşen Çevik) we have been leading young people to work successfully in the field as a volunteer.

Main Responsibility:
1- Teaching in the Kindergarten as an Assistant Teacher.
An assistant teacher supports the lead teacher by helping with daily activities, lesson preparation, supervising children, assisting with individual or group tasks, ensuring safety, and eventually communicating with parents about progress.
