Resumo: Founded in 2008, the hosting organization is a welcoming space, open to the entire department, where everyone can discover, exchange ideas, meet others, and experience Europe. As a non-profit organization (under the 1901 French law), our mission is to raise awareness and provide information about European citizenship to the residents of thedepartment.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
You might be our ideal volunteer if you’re enthusiastic, adaptable and genuinely enjoy spending time with children and young people. You’re curious, open to new experiences and ready to share your culture, your language and your passions — whether that’s music, sport, arts, science or something else entirely. Some French is a real plus to connect with the kids and the teams, but motivation matters most. An interest in how local public services work is a bonus!

Tarefas: work alongside its teams and make a real impact — with children at lunchtime in local schools, and with young people at the Youth Service. You won’t be just an extra pair of hands: you’ll bring your culture, your language and your ideas into spaces where young rarely get to meet someone like you.
The City has been hosting ESC volunteers since 2021, and each year it’s an opportunity for local teams to evolve their practices and for young people to discover that Europe is something real — something they can be part of too.

Condições: You’ll live in a shared house with the other ESC volunteers of the project — everything provided, and a ready-made international crew to explore France with!
A public transport card covers all your daily travel around the city. On school days, you’ll eat lunch with the teams you work with; for other meals, you’ll receive food money.
