Resumo: The Centre association was established in 1964 and has since implemented its mission through complementary approaches within the priority neighborhoods of the inner-suburban area:
- Activities and services (individual dimension): The Centre offers residents services and activities tailored to their expressed needs, in partnership with local authorities.
- Project support (collective dimension): The Centre supports residents' collective projects to address their aspirations and needs.
- Civic engagement (public interest dimension): The Centre empowers residents to take action on societal issues affecting their local area by fostering innovative solutions.

The Centre thus pursues three main goals to address fundamental social needs, reflecting the individual, collective, and social dimensions of human life:
- social inclusion and personal socialization,
- the development of social ties and local social cohesion,
- user empowerment and the development of active citizenship. To foster community living and social harmony, the Jean Centre aligns itself with the popular education movement and grounds its work in three core values: human dignity, solidarity, and democracy.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for motivated candidates who are interested in the proposed activities. They must share the association's core values: solidarity, conviviality, and sharing.

Tarefas: With the support of the association's staff and volunteers, you will play an active role in the daily life of the hosting organization.

You will not be mere observers, but active participants in creating a friendly, community-oriented environment. Your mission will be to foster interaction among participants, encourage social and cultural diversity, and help raise awareness about sustainable eating. Specifically:

You will help facilitate social engagement by welcoming guests, encouraging interaction, and creating a warm atmosphere.
You will lead intercultural workshops—such as organizing themed meals—to celebrate cultural diversity and spark participants' curiosity.
You will also help introduce the concept to young people.

Condições: Accommodation in a shared apartment with other volunteers (private bedrooms).

Monthly food allowance + one meal provided on-site.

Monthly public transport pass.
