Resumo: (small shelter with creative and educational activities)
Founded in 2002, the cooperative promotes social inclusion, equal opportunities and active citizenship through educational and community-based services.

Its mission is to support vulnerable people while fostering youth participation, solidarity and social cohesion. The organization works with homeless people, migrants, women at risk of social exclusion, children and young people through educational, social and community projects.


The regular activities include:
+ reception and support services for people experiencing social exclusion;
+ youth work, non-formal education and community development;
+ activities promoting active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and equal opportunities.

The hsoting organization has been hosting EVS/ESC volunteers since 2010.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: + Support educators in preparing food for homeless. Have lunch with them, help them to find a job or doing meaning things for the wellbeing (creative and practical workshops).

+ Be an adult role model who inspires people. Talk, coke and share moments with them!

+ Share your interest, passion, hobbies with them to establish a good relationship and give them new ideas for growing. Create your own workshop.

Horário: 30 hours per week

Condições: Accomodation:
+ A small indipendent house next to the town centre in a a peaceful zone. The house is fully equipped and it is only for 1 volunteer
+ The house has its own bedroom with sheets, blankets. We provide also towels
+ The kitchen is fully equipped. In the room there is also a sofa. Next to the kitchen there is a small room with the washing machine and cleaning products.

The volunteer will have lunch at the organization together with the staff and guests. In addition, they will have free access to the community pantry, which is always well stocked with groceries and essential food items. Volunteers are welcome to take everything they need to prepare breakfast, dinner or snacks at home whenever they wish.

We pay 6 euros per day - about 180 euro per month in cash at beginning of each months.
Pocket money is for personal expensives.

The accomodation is located in a lively town in the province. It is well connected by public transport, with regular bus and train services linking it to the nearby cities. Volunteer can easily reach the town centre, local services and the train station for longer trips during their free time and weekends, enjoying both the surrounding mountains and nearby cultural cities.
