Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit association that has been founded by a group of creative and hardworking young people, passionate about education, human rights and European values.
Our main goal is to invest in the personal and professional development of young people and to promote quality education, solidarity and international spirit. According to our mission statement, the organization is the Open Gate towards the World, the nest where we cultivate knowledgeable students working hand in hand with both public & private institutions active in the field of education, culture, youth, social inclusion.

Perfil: Volunteers should be over 18 years old, primarily with fewer opportunities, and need to be interested in learning & personal development, enjoy working with kids & youth, to be open & tolerant to other cultures. Flexibility is required, as they'll work in a multicultural environment as part of an international team. Being responsible, positive, energetic, communicative and a basic level of English is desirable to ease communication during project activities & within the international project team of staff & volunteers

Tarefas: The volunteer’s main role is to assist in extra-curricular and non-formal educational activities, coordinate indoor and outdoor activities, online and presential, through non-formal educational programs for kids and youth, typical and underprivileged, from 33 urban and rural environments, within various events, with the organization & local partners. Also they will be actively involved in designing & implementing activities of social inclusion through non-formal educational methods.

Condições: Travel: project coordinator informs counterparts/volunteers on travel routes & prices to match set budget. AIST reimburses eligible costs to volunteer using transport documents to justify travel. The organization will provide volunteers with bikes for local transport and/or bus tickets for activities in rural areas outside Baia Mare city.

Accommodation: Volunteers will be hosted in safe and central lodging, with facilities & utilities included, food allowance, volunteer's allowance, training courses & mentoring included.
