Resumo: Youth work, civic education, youth activism and international projects—this is what we do! Europa Iuvenis is a youth-focused NGO based in Poland. Since 2014, we have supported young people in developing their ideas, participating in local democracy, and taking an active role in society.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We are looking for enthusiastic, open-minded, and motivated individuals who are passionate about youth work, non-formal education, and community engagement. Altogether, we will host 2 volunteers. Previous professional experience is not required, making this an ideal opportunity if it is your very first ESC project, as we are more than happy to guide you step by step.

To fully participate in project activities, a communicative level of English (minimum B1) is essential, including the ability to read and write in English to help prepare presentations, workshop materials, and basic NGO documentation. Creativity is a huge part of our everyday work, so we are searching for resourceful, imaginative people who are not afraid to take initiative and propose their own ideas. Developing new skills and bringing your passions to life—like leading a workshop based on your unique hobbies—is what this experience is all about! Naturally, we adapt tasks to match the individual needs, interests, and skills of our volunteers.

In addition to activity planning, volunteers should be independent and responsible for maintaining clean, welcoming environments. Your role includes helping keep our youth space neat and organized on an ongoing basis. Since accommodation will be provided in a student dormitory in shared double or triple rooms, you must be comfortable sharing living spaces with others, keeping common areas clean, and maintaining a respectful, cooperative routine with housemates. If you are adaptable, proactive, eager to learn, and ready to share your culture, we would love to have you on our team!

Tarefas: you will work directly with local youth and kids aged 4 to 20. Your daily role will include creating and presenting interactive workshops in primary and high schools, visiting kindergartens for games, and co-running activities in our Youth Center.
You will also support our daily NGO operations and help organize large-scale educational events like debates, congresses, and integration meetings that reach over 2,000 young people every year.

Condições: Volunteers will receive a daily allowance of €6 for pocket money and €5.40 for food, paid monthly as a sum of €180 for pocket money and €162 for food allowance, with an adjustment for month-length differences made at the end of the project.
Accommodation is provided in a student dormitory in modular apartments, sharing a double or triple room. Each two-room module includes a shared kitchen and bathroom, and we equip the space with bed linens as well as basic cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery.
For project activities and workshops, all transportation costs are covered by the organization.
