Resumo: The aim of this project is to promote volunteerism as a tool for active participation of youngster in the life of the community and in a wider sense contributing to the dimension of social inclusion and anti discrimination. A special topic to be dealt with in the project is working with youngster with fewer opportunities, with accent on those with learning difficulties. The main theme of this project is Volunteerism in Terms of EYV2011 and Youth Participation as core elements that need to be promoted among Albanian young people. Intercultural learning, non formal education and learning by doing approaches will ensure an intercultural dimension to the project. The activities to be implemented from the 4 EVS volunteers will help to achieve the goal and the objective set for this project.

Perfil: Volunteers should be aged 20-27 years old and have basic knowledge of English. There is no extra skills required for the project. The will and readiness of youngsters to help peers in need is enough as a good start.

Tarefas: 1.Assisting and social animating for children with learning difficulties in a special school of Tirana. 2. Assisting the Local Volunteer Centre of Tirana, that is new established during 2011 and is voluntarily run by youngsters. 3.Providing to the youngsters with fewer opportunities, possibility to learn foreign languages, basic computer skills and offer them recreational activities. 4.Promoting Local Volunteering among youth in Albania, through EVS experience and YiA program. 5.Preparing and issuing the Newsletter of the association, as well as updating the website.
