Resumo: (Children)
Our facility, is a children's home with a social mission, recognized as a public benefit organization. It provides year-round residential care, 365 days a year, for 70 children aged 3 to 18 whose families are experiencing significant social difficulties.
Schooling takes place outside the facility, in the city's primary, middle, and high schools. A protective order issued by a juvenile court judge directs their placement at the home because they are considered to be at risk or in danger if they remain with their families. They are supported by educators in all aspects of daily life. As long as the family situation remains unsatisfactory, the home provides care for the young people: the daily educational approach aims to contribute to their personal development, the acquisition of academic and vocational skills, and their path to independence in collaboration with their families, whose participation in their upbringing is encouraged.
This care is provided until the age of majority, and beyond if necessary. Therefore, our approach is comprehensive, striving to create continuity in daily life to provide a solid foundation for these children with difficult and fragmented family backgrounds.
Siblings are cared for together to preserve family ties and foster relationships between parents and their children. Parental rights and responsibilities are respected in all matters compatible with the young people's legal and administrative status; therefore, parental involvement is sought whenever possible.
Daily life is organized into mixed-gender living groups of 12 children each, supervised by a team of four full-time educators who work in shifts. The institution's educational plan organizes and defines the roles and responsibilities of each staff member. The young people continue their schooling in the various schools in the neighborhood and the city.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: This mission requires important interpersonal skills since it is carried out with children. The children are divided into 3 groups of children (3-7 years old, 7-10 years old and 10-12 years old) and two groups of teenagers (12-14 years old and 14-16 years old)
The tasks will be the following:
- Accompanying the children in their activities (homework, sports, cultural outings, games and leisure activities) - Accompanying them in their daily lives (driving them to and from school, sharing meal times, helping them get to bed...)
