Resumo: The hosting organization is all about reaching out to rural youth. We are an NGO committed to non-formal learning, to culture and to participation opportunities. Our focus is to improve education levels and community engagement for the young people living in rural environment in Romania.
We take our work very seriously, yet we do it in a relaxed, witty and humorous spirit. A youthful spirit. Our main goal is to revitalise rural environment. In our view, change finds its most fertile ground in the ones most aptly equipped for change: YOUTH.
Their energy and their desire to set a new way of doing things inspired us to provide for them an organisational framework capable of allowing them to implement this change for themselves and for the community they live in. We believe that our projects function as a pilot initiative addressing the issues of rural development, educational access and better opportunities for the ones who need change and a better life within the rural area.

Perfil: - is between 18 and 30 years old
- is available for 6-8 months of the mobility
- is motivated to do international volunteering
- is strongly motivated to live and work in rural area
- is interested in learning a different European language
- is motivated to promote rural heritage and sustainable values and behaviours
- is motivated to develop new competences and to learn about community development
- has at least basic English communication skills, spoken and written

Tarefas: Join us to discover and document rural life: meet people, take photos, learn recipes, listen to stories and so on.
The work that the volunteers will do will consist of the following but not limited to:
- sociological research in the community
- collect stories, legends, recipes, information etc
- gathering audio/video/photo/written material from around the area
- creating and mapping hike and bike trails that would include local produces, places to see, etc
- organizing intercultural events in which they will present their own cultures to the locals.
- put together the material, edit the videos, photo and text materials and adding them on the webpages
- presenting their work.
- give a hand to tasks around.

Condições: - reimbursement of travel costs up to 211/309/395 euro (according to distance) in the end of the stay
- green travel costs available as well
- accommodation in a traditional house in our community together with the rest of the volunteers (you will be a bunch of international)
- food allowance and pocket money
- local transport bus permits and car when needed for activities, sim cards with mobile data, medical insurance etc
