Resumo: Project Environment:
Liechtenstein is a small principality between Switzerland, Austria and Germany, surrounded by very beautiful mountains.
Capital: Vaduz, size: 160 km2, population: 35000, 11 municipalities
Official language: German, colloquial languag: German dialect
Liechtenstein has a high developed, highly industiralized economy. Liecthenstein is also specialised in financial services.
38.4 % of the workers are border workers from the neighbouring countries.
HPZ is based in Schaan, the town with the most inhabitants in the country. Schaan is in many ways the center of the country: it has a vivid cultural life and a strong industry.

HPZ is organised in five devisions: school, therapy, work, habitation and operational services. In our devisions we offer lifelong support, including: early orthopaedic intervention, individual school education, medical and peagogical therapy, apprenticeships, adult education, job clarification, occupational integration, work, habitation
The devisions are mainly located in Schaan. There is also a part of habitation and work in Mauren situated.
Volunteers will have the possibility to get acquainted with the different divisions so that they can make experiences in supporting people (children and adults) with special needs in different phases of their life.

Perfil: Volunteers profile and recruitment process:
Our idal volunteer
- is open minded and enthusiastic, is eager to gather new experiences and is ready to offer his/her competences in our project.
- age of 20 or older, because working in therapautical pedagogy requires a certain level of maturity.
- a basic level of German language knowledge is recommended, in order to be able to communicate with our clientale from the beginning of the project, and to do so, make the most profit of it.
- having driving license would be an advantage
- having a positive mindset and a positive approach to work with children and adults with special needs.

Tarefas: Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
We offer:
- different aktivities in a professional, competetn and friendly team
- working in different divisions (e.g. school, habitation)
- the possibility to make expreiences in working with people with special needs
- employees who support and introduce the volunteer in a competent and professional way

The role of the volunteer is to support the team at daily work, to accompany children and adults with special needs.
We will adjust the tasks of the volunteer to his/her qualities and competences.
The volunteer will work max. 35 hours a week (including German lessons and EVS Trainings) and will have to consequtive days off per week and 2 days holidays per month.
Accomodation for the volunteer will be provided with bedroom, livingroom and cooking possibilities in a centra area of teh country.
The volunteer will receive food allowance and/or can use our canteen.
The volunteer wil receive a yearly ticket for local public transport.
