Resumo: (Kindergarten)
We are a family center. We have 7 different centers for different age groups, from
babies to seniors. The kindergarten is in a different building but still belongs under the leader organization.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Position for a volunteer who will be involved in the daily care and education of children.
English is needed at a communicative level (at least B1). All activities take place under the professional supervision of a pedagogical team member according to the educational program Step by Step.

Tarefas: Volunteers actively participate in the daily routine of the kindergarten. They help welcome and take over the children, support communication with parents, and join the morning circle including rituals, exercise, and short meditation activities.
They assist with preparing meals, supporting hygiene and good habits, and helping during rest time and bedtime stories. Volunteers also take part in educational activities, ateliers, games, theatre, and music sessions, as well as
outdoor preparation and activities. An important part of their role is intercultural learning – introducing their
home country, language, and traditions to the children. Occasionally, they may help with afternoon or weekend events.
Volunteers also develop their own skills by learning Czech and participating in regular coaching, mentoring sessions, and evaluations.

Occasionaly doing language lessons (deppends on demand)
Hosting a cooking course
Being the administrator of our social media - all based on your skills and knowledge
Visiting schools with presentations about your countries and the ESC program.

Horário: Your working day is 6 hours (Monday - Friday). Your time schedule depends on you and your activities. Some days might
be a little bit longer since we host some events, but the overtime hours will not be overlooked.

You get 2 days of vacation per month, over the Christmas period, you will need to use some of your vacation days (6-7
days).

Condições: Accommodation - fully equipped volunteers' apartment, 4 separate rooms, shared kitchen & bathroom, wi-fi
Walking from the apartment to your workplace is approximately 8 minutes.
You can find many grocery shops close by, like Lidl, Kaufland, or Albert.
Any repairs that would be needed have to be reported to your coordinators.

Food & pocket money provided (cca 390 EUR / month); be prepared to receive your monthly allowance in CZK Rights and responsibilities stated in a Volunteering Agreement
There is a 50 EUR deposit for the apartment, that will be reimbursed before the end of the project.
It's good to set up a Revolut account before you arrive, since we have a different currency - it will be easier for you to handle money
International insurance provided within the project (Henner)
Travel costs reimbursed based on provided tickets up to the amount stated for the volunteer's country
