Resumo: Game Center Mirakolix is an organization activating in the field of non-formal education through games and creative activities for children, youth and adult people. The activities that we organize come to respond to the visible lack of today’s society of a real environment were people can socialize and interact with each other by being involved in different activities, such as games or artistic activities.

The project will take place in Cluj-Napoca a very multicultural city with a diverse cultural and religious life, at present besides Romanians there are also minorities of Hungarians, Roma, Jews and Germans. Being considered an important educational center, Cluj-Napoca has a big number of young people living in it, for whom there are a big variety of activities and opportunities regarding both their formal education and non-formal education.

Through all the activities the volunteers will be involved in, they will get in close contact to the local community, by interacting with different target groups during various projects. This way they will get familiar with the approach of Romanian culture on different aspect of daily life.

Perfil: We are looking for volunteers who are open minded, flexible, interested in foreign cultures, games, arts, educational work and working with other people (both kids and adults).

Tarefas: Game Center Mirakolix is looking for 4-volunteers to work along with our members and volunteers for 9 months (starting from October 2012) both in our already existing programs such as:

- board game evenings in cafes
- game activities with children and parents in schools
- board game championships
- outdoor game events
- game corner during festivals
- activities regarding communication, PR, fund raising, event planning, partnerships, brand evolving and public campaigns.

but also they will be encouraged to implement and develop their own ideas and interests in new activities. We support new and creative ideas that can enrich the activities of our organization.

If they manifest interest, the volunteers will have the possibility to activate in a school, our organization is collaborating with, where most of the children events take place, developing their own activities and workshops for the after school program. This way they will be personalizing even more their own service.
