Resumo: (Youth information office project)


The leader Organization began functioning in August 2000. The purpose of our organization is the utilization of free time, informing young people about international and national programs, and the encouragement of participation. Our organization has a great motivation and interest to offer young people from the local community but also youngsters from different countries a wide range of opportunities and information in order to achieve intercultural experience and widen their European awareness.

By participating in this program with the volunteers our aim is to promote common European values, foster social integration, enhance intercultural understanding and also the sense of belonging to a community.

Furthermore, with the activities we bring together young people with the goal to build a more inclusive society, supporting vulnerable people and responding to societal challenges. Our goal is to make them understand what it means: “thinking globally, acting locally”. Our main objective is to develop a more positive attitude towards volunteering, solidarity actions, nonformal education. We are in close cooperation with two municipalities by coordinating their voluntary projects through our youth information office that offers a wide range of information, regarding European and National programs, which concern youths from 16-30yr olds and encourages active participation.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We are looking for volunteers with organizational skills, motivation to prepare and implement events, workshops, campaigns, come up with ideas and can take initiatives, skills to manage social media, Canva program. Communicative level of English is necessary.

Tarefas: - with the ESC volunteers we organize workshops to students in language schools with the goal of developing their communication and cooperation with youngsters from foreign countries
- we organize workshops, campaigns, exhibitions in the local community for the locals
- active in social media, making and uploading interviews, Newsletter, short movies, presentations in the social media channels and the website of the organization
-office / administrational tasks and coordinating the ESC projects of the municipalities
-promotion activities, responsible for the visibility and dissemination of the results of the ESC activities
- Participate in the preparation of the new coming olunteers
