Resumo: (Foster Home with children and youngsters in the Rural)

Promote
The Foundation aims to promote the empowerment of people in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion, with a special focus on children and young people.

Promote
Training, research, and dissemination of psychological, therapeutic, and social aspects that can contribute to societal progress toward forms of intervention and organization that facilitate and promote this progress.

Develop
All activities in the clinical intervention fields of psychomotor skills, relaxation, and therapeutic analysis, with a particular emphasis on children and adolescents.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The main aim of the project is to support the team of educators of the Foster Home working with children and teenagers in a vulnerable situation and at a social exclusion risk.
They are also dealing with mental health issues. The project tasks include supporting children and teenagers with their daily life routine: lunch, homework, house-maintenance and workshops.
The most valuable tasks are to play with the children, to propose workshops... (crafts, sports, cooking...)On the weekends there are activities on the surroundings with the children.
In the foster home they also have horses, that supports children with their psycologycal development, so therapeutic riding is also part of the activities.
