Resumo: The Foundation is a non-profit organization which focuses on strengthening the civil society, supporting active citizenship, promoting European integration and fostering European values. We use nonformal and interactive educational methods such as activities in public space, urban games, organize cultural exchange projects and take part in European voluntary movement, organize conferences, seminars, debates and workshops.
Our goal is to present Europe and the EU in a simple and clear manner for targeted recipients. We cooperate with many NGOs from the same field, public institutions and with European School Clubs from Poland and other countries.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

No specific knowledge, skils or experience are required as the necessary ones can be acquired during the project. We are not looking for experienced volunteers but those who would learn a lot during the service in a particular hosting organization and are strongly motivated. Wil to learn Polish is welcome.

Tarefas: + visit schools and European School Clubs across Poland with workshops about UE Citizenship, European Union, European values and cultural diversity, their countries, possibilities of mobilities in Europe. They will be guided to create interactive and engaging activities, using non-formal education methods;
+ manage Volunteers’ profiles on Facebook and Instagram: prepare the content (posts, stories etc., which involves taking photos, creating graphics, shooting short videos), respond to messages;
+ promote international volunteering & European Solidarity Corps by organizing activities of their interest/choice (for example visit universities, prepare informative materials, podcasts, videos, etc.);
+ assist in current the Foundation’s European & civic education projects.

Volunteers will also have some common activities with other volunteers such as:
+ SOCIAL MEDIA Contributing to the Schuman volunteers’ social media channels ( and Writing Instagram). blogs dedicated to their experience in the form of articles, photographs or audio/video materials. Facebook Creating posts that are published on the Foundation’s website and social media.
+ INTERNAL ON-ARRIVAL Taking part in internal onarrival training organized by the Foundation. The first days followed by volunteers’ arrival to Warsaw will be spent all together to get to know each other, the ESC programme and the new environment.
+ EUROPE DAY Actively taking part in preparations and celebrations of the Europe Day organized by the Foundation;
+ THURSDAYS Taking part in regular meetings organized on Thursdays at the Foundation office. Volunteers hosted in Warsaw spend the whole day together to learn Polish, evaluate the last period of activities, prepare workshops and animations for each other and integrate. You wil be welcome to propose common activities, share your interests and learn from each other.

Condições: POCKET MONEY Each volunteer will get the amount of 6 € per day, so about 180 € (in Polish currency) per month

FOOD ALLOWANCE Each volunteer will receive about 100 € per month (in Polish currency) as a food allowance.

SANITARY MEDICAL TEST Volunteers hosted in kindergartens and schools will have to undertake sanitary medical tests, as it is required by Polish law. The Foundation will cover their costs and assist in the process

The apartments will be rented for the entire time of volunteers’ mobilities and are equipped with all necessary utilities. Volunteers are obliged to keep the flat clean.
