Resumo: (children)

The Association is an organisation funded in October 2012. Its activity is deployed on the following levels:
- Local level – in the rural environment, through the Youth Centre
- Regional level through the involvement in the youth initiative. This initiative has the purpose to develop the District based on non-formal educational programs organized in partnership with NGOs active in the field from the District.
- National level through the Youth Problem Council membership; council organized by the Youth and Sport Ministry in Romania and VOLUM membership;
- International level through different partnerships developed with European Union countries and not only the organization mission is to promote non-formal education and volunteering.
We develop educational programs, animation activities, civil involvement, environment and social protection programs as well as cultural development programs. Most of the programs are deployed within the Youth Centre.

Perfil: Aged between 18 and 30 years old; Unemployed at the time of selection; Responsible and reliable; Communicative, friendly, and positive attitude; Interested in the theme of the project; Capable of preparing and leading activities; Eager to contribute to the development of the Youth Centre; Resident of an EU country; Good knowledge of English; Motivated and ready to be actively involved in the local community.

Tarefas: The aim of the project is to support the personal, educational, and social development of children and young people through non-formal learning, intercultural exchange, and community engagement, while empowering volunteers to develop key competences, active citizenship, and professional skills in youth work. As part of this project, volunteers will:
- Organize and implement non-formal activities at the After School program for children aged 7 to 10 years;
- Organize and implement workshops in local schools (middle schools and high schools), including cultural events, skills and soft skills development, civic engagement etc.
- Design activity plans for every activity conducted at the Youth Center and in local schools.
- Complete various administrative tasks, such as filling out weekly reports, activity reports, and maintaining the activity calendar.
- Contribute to the development of the Virtual Youth Center.

Condições: Travel expenses (to Romania and back to your home country) will be reimbursed according to distance bands and ESC guidelines. Volunteers will receive pocket money and food money in line with ESC guidelines.
Volunteers will stay in shared accommodation with other volunteers. The accommodation is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation and shops. It is fully equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, furniture, beds, cutlery etc.
