Resumo: (House Museum)
The project begins in Oct for 10-12 months. The House of the composer was constructed in 1844/1845 and is the last and the only remaining and preserved private address who has been residing here with his family since 1845 and died here on the 4th of November 1847. The museum is thus concentrated on the time when the compositor lived and died and is considered to be the musical and museum-like center for the cultural inheritance of the composer. Its' aim is to present the life, work and the historical influence of the composer, director, piano virtuoso and mediator between the religions and the Europeans.

Perfil: We are looking for 1 volunteer, who: is 18-30 years old, has at least B1 level German knowledge (!); interested in music and art; creative and open-minded; like working with people; open for working on weekends. The volunteer works normally 4 days a week from 9:30 am till 6/6:30 pm and has to work on weekends and some holidays as the museum is opened but gets day off during the week. The working hours are 32 hours. The first German course for improving the level is counted as working hours.

Tarefas: The volunteer tasks are mainly: welcoming the guests, giving information about the museum, working often at the reception desk, guiding visitors in English or other languages, helping with events & concerts management and promotion. The volunteer will have an opportunity to create and develop his/her own projects.

Condições: The volunteer will live in a shared flat with an own room, but share a kitchen and a bathroom. Food/Pocket money will be paid out to you as well as money to buy the local transportation monthly ticket (altogether 558 euro) or you just buy a bike, which you can sell at the end of the project.
