Resumo: The hosting organization was founded in 2019 by seven amazing friends. Since then, the organisation has developed a lot, and now we have more than 190 volunteers from all over Poland! We all treat each other with respect and love spending time together. So, we can say – welcome to our little family!
OUR MISSION
We want to improve the quality of life of the local community, build a new model of informal education, and thus develop the socio-professional competencies of children and youth, contributing to the creation of an innovative society of the future.
Your mentor will guide you through the best places in Łódź and give you some tips for the best places to visit all around Poland
Perfil: Age: 18-30
Tarefas: + Supporting the preparation and delivery of workshops, training sessions, and local events
+ Facilitating activities for children, young people, and community groups
+ Assisting with group coordination, participant support, and event flow during activities
+ Preparing training materials, handouts, presentations, and practical resources for workshops
+ Creating event outlines, session plans, and educational content
+ Supporting the logistics and organisation of local initiatives, partner meetings, and recruitment events
+ Assisting in the promotion of projects, events, and volunteering opportunities
+ Taking part in on-site meetings, workshops, and outreach activities
+ Communicating with participants, partners, and local stakeholders
+ Supporting international recruitment and helping to plan recruitment-related events such as fairs
+ Creating, editing, and updating project documents, including rules of participation, schedules, and itineraries
+ Collecting information and useful resources for project implementation
+ Preparing, promoting, and supporting surveys and feedback processes
+ Analysing data and contributing to reports and project summaries
+ Creating brochures, summaries, blog articles, and promotional content
+ Conducting language classes and educational activities
+ Promoting the ESC programme in schools, youth spaces, local events, and other settings
+ Supporting the development of new project ideas, partnerships, and funding applications
Horário: You will have team tasks from your team leader, individual projects, language courses, mentoring, and training required by the program.
Work schedule:
- 30-35 hours per week (half stationary/half online)
- ROWE - outside planned events Team meetings and mentoring sessions
- 3 days a week from the office
- 2 days off per week + an additional 2 days off per month
You will work 30 hours per week. In our organization, we have an e-volunteering program. Your activities will be half online and half stationary. Also, you will learn the Polish language by attending a Polish course. In addition, you will have two training sessions at the National Agency of Erasumus+ Programme.
Condições: Accommodation
Dormitory with other volunteers, separate rooms with own bathroom, shared kitchen and washroom, all equipped. Towels: in the dorm they also give us one big towel and one small towel, It's possible to change them at the reception whenever you need.
FOOD
You will receive a certain amount of money for food monthly. You will be able to decide for yourself what, when and where to eat. There are a lot of shops, food stands, cafes and restaurants available all over the city. The supermarkets closest to the dormitory: Dino, Lidl, Auchan, Biedronka. Most shops are closed on Sundays (apart from Zabka)
Finance
Monthly allowance: approx. 180 euros pocket money per month (6 euros per day) transferred to the account once a month
approx. 150 euros for the food and other essentials per month
City card for public transport, provided reimbursement of travel costs to Poland/return to the country after the project completion (according to Erasmus+ rules).
Money for the first month will be transferred approx. one week after you arrive - please keep it in mind planning your arrival.
