Resumo: (environment)
The hosting organization is a former informal group of young people trying to ``live lightly and meaningfully on earth`` and we recently became a social cooperative. We are four families with small kids living in an natural environment on Evia-island.

Our aims include:
promotion of a healthy way of life
promotion of sustainable everyday practices
protection of the environment
promotion of democratic education

In doing so our main areas of activity are:
1.Natural and Organic farming: We cultivate as much of our food and we also cultivate vegetables and pomegranates professionally to sell to the local and wider market, reallocating the amounts earned for the scope of our organization as is discribed also in our statute

2.Natural Building: We design and construct eco-friendly, handmade buildings and smaller scale constructions such us earth ovens, benches, fireplaces, kiosks etc. In addition, we run Natural Building workshops for people who wish to learn through practical experience

3.Cultural and creative interchange through the organization of small scale projects with the involvement of the local community and also the organization of small scale art festivals

4.Transformation of educational systems towards democratic education. We organize Agile Learning workshops and also informational days in order to promote and discuss about democratic education

In all of our activities the participants learn using non formal educational methods mainly being experiential education (learning by doing).

Since activities and world-views are interrelated, we approach aspects of everyday living in an holistic way.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteers should be highly motivated, familiar with living and working in nature and comfortable with tools. They should be able to work in a team, but also independently. In order to spend a harmonious time together, we are looking for people with balanced personalities, an open heart and a longing for authentic, honest relations.

Tarefas: Main activities during this period will be gardening/permaculture, natural building, woodwork but also collecting herbs and plants. Furthermore organization and support of workshops on self-directed education, arts and well being.
Our daily rhythm will be mostly calm, with 4-5 hours of work in the morning hours so afternoons are free. The exact flow will be determined in collaboration with the volunteers, according to the project's needs.
