Resumo: (Volunteering teams project)

The hosting organization is a renowned center for sustainable living and personal development, offering courses and festivals in yoga, meditation, personal growth, and sustainability.

The vision and mission of the organization are: We are internationally renowned source of inspiration, exploring how human beings together consciously can create the life they desire on earth, and demonstrating paths to sustainable development, well-being, and harmony.

The place is owned and run by a non-profit association of about 500 members and a core team of 45 people. In the adjacent village live about 200 people that were attracted to this rural area due to the organization events and activities.

With over 25 years of experience, we attract approximately 6,000 visitors annually.

We reinforce holistic community development by integrating the economic, ecological, social, and cultural dimensions of sustainability. We provide a transformative experiences through courses, workshops but most importantly the immersive experience in our intentional working community. Our volunteer program involves Swedish and international volunteers who contribute to the development of the place, organize festivals, and run their own learning programs.

We also initiate projects that unite and empower the local community, such as a food-saving project, a holistic preschool, and primary school, and a community cafe.

Our focus on climate change prevention and resilience has increased since 2021 in response to global challenges

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about community, sustainability, and hands-on projects, highly motivated people ready to dedicate their energy to practical work and communal involvement. We base the selection process mostly on your reasons to apply and willingness to learn.

Volunteers must show an interest in learning and living in a community. Living closely with a community of diverse individuals can be both challenging and amazing, and we seek people who are open to that experience and eager to support our shared values and goals.

Tarefas: we will focus on projects that support sustainability and regeneration, increasing ecological resilience, and spreading sustainability awareness through educational initiatives for our community and festival participants. You’ll also contribute to preparing the site for our transformative summer festivals, with hands-on tasks like setting up tents, cutting wood and crafting spaces that host connection, growth, and joy

Condições: ACCOMMODATION
You will live in dorms (bunk beds) with communal showers and toilets. You cannot bring your dog or cat to the center to live with you.

FOOD
Our kitchen serves delicious vegetarian and vegan meals 3 times a day. You have access to tea and coffee, and sometimes fruits or snacks. There is also a separate community kitchen if you want to prepare something special for yourself.

ALCOHOL-FREE & DRUG-FREE
The center is best experienced in full presence and therefore we are a completely alcohol- and drug-free environment. If you are found under the influence we will ask you to leave immediately.

TRANSPORTATION
The center is located in the beautiful Swedish countryside.
