Resumo: (voluntering teams project)

Our area covers seven municipalities and approximately 52 000 inhabitants who mainly live in rural areas.
Our aim is to encourage local people to develop their home region; to enhance a better quality of life for individuals and communities; as well as to create new employment opportunities.
The association was founded in 1996 and it has its own strategic developing plan for years 2021 – 2027. The main themes in our strategy are closely tied to topics like vivid home region, strong businesses, the participation of youth, sustainability and green deal. The plan is carried out by e.g. development projects.
In addition, the association educates, informs, activates and helps local residents to apply funding and carry out their own projects. The hosting organization cooperates with local people, and anyone can become a member of the association.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We would like to receive active volunteers who are motivated to work together with local community. Some tasks are done outdoors so volunteers need to be prepared to work despite the weather. Working hours will change according to tasks, so
volunteers need to be flexible.

Tarefas: In this project a team of volunteers will work together with local 4H association in versatile tasks to create activities for local children and youth as well as participating in annual agricultural fair. Volunteers will also work in tasks to improve the state of nature.

Volunteers' tasks include e.g.
+ planning and implementing day camp activities for children/youth
+ organizing activities for local agricultural fair
+ recovering threatened coastal plant species and their habitats
+ removal of invasive species
+ producing photos and videos

Condições: Accommodation, food and transportation arrangements
Volunteers are accommodated in a dormitory in individual or shared rooms.
Volunteers need to cook for themselves (food allowance and pocket money will be provided). Some of the work tasks take place within walking distance from the accommodation. A car transportation to work tasks is provided when necessary.
Main services locate within walking distance. Public transportation is available to nearby cities. Mandatory costs are covered according to programme rules.
