Resumo: (volunteering teams project - youth center)
The Youth Centre was founded in 1998. It is a public institute, located in Slovenia. It provides activities for young people between 7 and 30 years, their parents, youth workers and other experts in the field of youth and social work.

The principal aims of the Youth Centre are:
- to provide support for youth in the local area,
- to give them opportunity to spend their free time wisely and
- to encourage them to get actively involved in a society on a local, national, and international level.

To achieve these goals we run various activities, which are held by Youth Centre Domžale alone or in cooperation with other Slovenian and international organizations. Activities include: educational activities (with special focus on the recognition of non-formal education and development of new competences for personal and professional growth of young people), voluntary work, cultural and creative workshops, sport activities, information and counselling, prevention activities, intergenerational activities, promotion of active participation and active citizenship, international activities.

The Youth Centre runs Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes on regular basis. We organise youth exchanges, mobility of youth workers, long term individual volunteering and short-term volunteering teams projects. Since 2015 we are regional partner of Eurodesk network. We have five employees and number of volunteers, who help us on weekly basis.

Perfil: We are looking for a volunteer who is / has:
- motivated to do graffiti, create something new and leave footprints in the local community,
- a sense of creativity,
- some previous knowledge of art, drawing, painting,...
- prepared to work outside,
- enjoy the company of other volunteers and local youth,
- open to get to know new people and cultures,
- aged 18 to 30 years,
- fluent in english

Tarefas: Youth centre is located in municipality where you will express your creative ideas through graffiti art.
Your canvas could be an underpass, wall in the middle of the town or in front of a school. Beside that, you will be a part of youth centre’s day centre, where you will hang out with local youth (preparing some fun activities, playing board or other games, teaching them your language etc.).
This project provides you with the opportunity for expressing yourself through art, gain new knowledge, skills, experiences and at the same time leave positive footprints in our local community.
Some basic knowledge or experiences in art are expected but there will also be art mentors, who will guide you through the process. Just be prepared to learn, work outside and put ideas into practice.
ESC projects represent big learning opportunity, you will receive certificate of attendance and Youthpass, in which all new skills and knowledge will be described.

Condições: You will be accommodated in the hostel. The distance to the Youth Centre and the centre of the town approximately 10-15 minutes by bus or 40 minutes on foot. Each volunteer will receive money for food and other neccesaries (196€/month) and pocket money (5€/day).
Local transport will be paid by Youth Centre and the travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance calculator.
