Resumo: (youth center)
The center is managed by the Municipality. The center's activities also include the Community Center, Culture Center, Club and the Communities Centers where various events and happenings take place that help bring the community together.

The goal of the Culture and Youth Center is to preserve and develop folk culture, provide cultural services to residents, create opportunities for hobbies, active recreation and meaningful spending of free time, support the development of creative skills and abilities, preserve and develop local traditions, and organize concerts, performances, exhibitions, entertainment events, and develop and organize youth work.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

- Confident communication and willingness to take the first step with young people.
- Active presence and support: engage with the youth and participate in activities.
- Initiative to plan or lead activities that suit the young people in each youth room.
- Sharing your skills and interests, whether in art, sports, technology, cooking or anything you enjoy.
- Cultural exchange and bringing your traditions, ideas and experiences into our youth spaces.
- Open communication about expectations, your strengths and how you can best contribute.

Tarefas: Our youth centre is an active community space where young people come to spend time, learn new skills and take part in diverse activities. Daily life in different youth rooms includes chilling, cooking, photography and media projects, podcasting, arts and crafts, and technology group. Youngsters play board games, video games and active games such as pool, table tennis, table football and air hockey, and volunteers are always welcome to join in or support them.

We also organise events linked to national and local traditions like Mardipäev and Kadripäev, as well as annual youth parties like Youth Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween and our Thank You Gala. Volunteers can contribute by leading activities, supporting the youth workers, sharing their culture and even teaching their language.

Not all activites are available in every youth room, but every one of our youth rooms have their own traditions and main activities that are special to them.

Horário: The volunteer’s working time is 30 hours per week, which includes both on-site work in the youth centres and preparation
or background tasks.
