Resumo: (Working in a primary school / day-care centreschool)
Carl Orff Primary School is located in the beautiful green neighbourhood. There is a good mix of people with high, medium and low incomes as well as people with and without a migration background. In addition to traditional lessons, the school specialises in
- Music
- Social learning

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas:  The volunteer will work in a team with a group of secondary school teachers and educators.
 He/she and his/her team will supervise children from different classes (1st and 2nd grade, 3rd grade or 4th-6th grade), in different buildings located on the school campus.
 The day consists of three parts and the volunteer will work in all three parts of the day:
1. assistance with classroom work;
2. lunch break (help the children in the canteen);
3. free time for the children with indoor and outdoor games, sports, projects (art, chess, yoga, table tennis, gardening), homework, etc.
 Opportunity to create own projects with the children.
 Opportunity to participate in weekly team meetings, parent meetings, etc.

Key facts for the volunteer position
 The volunteer will work with a team of 22 educators and 2 Trainees.
 The spoken language in the team is German but many educaters speak englisch and some of them speak polish, arabic, russian, farsi.
 There are no other volunteers in the project but interns
 The volunteer will work with a group of 50-100 children. In total there are 350 children.
 The children the volunteer will work with are between the ages of 6 and 11 years old

Horário:  The volunteer is expected to work 35 hours per week.
 Working hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 or 10:00 to 18:00. but we can vary it a little bit, especially during the day-care education in the holidays. The most important working time of the day is 10h to 16h
