Resumo: (Day-care Education)
The hosting organization is an Elementary School. They cooperate as a day-care centre with a school following the pedagogical approach of Maria Montessori. At our location there are many children with special needs, many of whom
have a special focus on mental development. We work very closely with all the staff of the family-oriented elementary school.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Tasks for volunteer
The volunteers assisting a team of teachers and educators in a fixed class. The day-care centre is integrated in the school, so the work usually starts after the end of the class.

The activities of the volunteers can include
 Teaching assistance and homework assistance, accompanying the children in their learning process, motivating children with different learning material
 Assisting the team at lunch time, preparing the tables, taking care of the children
 Playing board games, preparing creative offers
 Joining the open educational approach, taking part in activities in theme rooms
 Playing outside with the children: e.g. basketball, football, jumping rope…
 Organising holiday activities, taking part in trips and excursions
 Possibility for realising own ideas of projects
