Resumo: (PADEL UNIVERSITY GAMES CHAMPIONCHIP)

Are you ready to be at the heart of the action? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Team Project in the sunny city in Spain!

This is your chance to support one of the most exciting university sports events in the world, organized by the University. You will be part of a multicultural team, fostering solidarity and sportsmanship under the Erasmus+ framework.

Perfil: We are seeking dynamic and highly motivated young people aged between 18 and 30 who are legal residents in Europe or hold a valid status that allows participation within the Erasmus+ framework without a visa.

The ideal candidate must be active, participative, and deeply committed to the core values of sportsmanship and the European Solidarity Corps. Given the nature of a World Championship, we need volunteers who are responsible and prepared for intense working days in a fast-paced environment. Since the event takes place during the summer, you should be ready to handle high-temperature conditions while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements & Skills:

Team Players: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team.
Sports Enthusiasts: Prior experience in sports volunteering is highly valued.
Padel Knowledge: A good understanding of Padel (rules, logistics, or culture) is a significant asset.
Resilience: Ready to take initiative and solve problems during a high-pressure international event.
If you are a hardworking individual who believes in the power of sport to build a more united Europe, we want you on our team!

Tarefas: From welcoming athletes from 32 different countries to supporting logistics, media, and event operations during the championship (July 6th–11th), you will be the «beating heart» of the tournament.

The mission of our volunteers is divided into three main phases: Preparation & Training, Core Event Operations, and Social Impact & Legacy. Below are the specific actions and responsibilities:

1. Preparatory & Training Phase (June 15th – July 5th)
Before the competition starts, volunteers will undergo intensive training to ensure the project’s success:
+ Team Building & Intercultural Workshops: Activities to foster cohesion among the 25 international volunteers.
+ Event Management Training: Workshops on the rules of Padel, protocols, and the specific logistics of the University facilities.
+ First Aid & Safety Briefing: Basic training in first aid support and emergency protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
+ Venue Set-up: Assisting in the branding and physical preparation of the sports complexes.

2.Event Operations & Athlete Support (July 6th – July 11th)
During the Championship week, volunteers will be organized into specialized teams:

+ Logistics & Transportation Hub: * Coordinating the shuttle system between the official accommodations and the sports venues.
- Acting as «Welcome Officers» at the Airport and Train Station for arriving delegations from 32 countries.
+ Sports Office & Competition Support: * Assisting the technical committee with match scheduling and court management.
- Providing support in the First Aid stations (under professional supervision) to assist athletes with hydration and minor needs.
+ Protocol & Ceremonies: * Organizing the «Victory Ceremonies» and medal deliveries.
- Assisting in the VIP areas and supporting the authorities.
+ Media & Digital Communication: * Content creation for official Social Media channels (Instagram, TikTok).
- Assisting international journalists and managing the press zone.

2.Social Actions & Community Engagement
As an Erasmus+ / ESC project, solidarity is at the core of our work:

+ Cultural Exchange Fair: A space for volunteers to promote the European Solidarity Corps and their own cultures to the local citizens.
+ Sustainability Patrol: Ensuring the event follows «Green Event» guidelines, managing waste reduction and promoting eco-friendly habits among spectators.

4. Evaluation & Legacy Phase (July 12th – July 15th)
+ Dismantling & Logistics: Assisting in the final breakdown of the event infrastructure.
+ Youthpass Process: Reflective sessions to identify the competences gained during the month and final validation of the Youthpass Certificate.
+ Final Reporting: Collaborating on the final project video and documentation for the European Commission.

Key Roles for the Volunteers:

Team Liaisons: Assigned to specific delegations to act as translators and guides.
Media Creators: Photographers and social media managers.
Logistics Assistants: Managing transport, catering, and water distribution.
Solidarity Ambassadors: Leading the social and environmental actions.

Horário: Your well-being is important to us. In accordance with the Erasmus+ and ESC regulations, you are entitled to two days of holiday during this project. These days are in addition to the weekly rest days, providing you with time to relax and explore the beautiful Andalusia region or the beaches of the Costa del Sol.

Condições: Accommodation and Financial Support
