Resumo: The hosting organization is an independent non-governmental organization founded in 1994 by the youth and operating since 1995 at local, regional, national and international level. In the circle of our activities we involve both very active young people and less enterprising people living in small towns and rural areas with difficult conditions to realize their ambitions and plans.
The activities of the organization focus on organizing conferences, trainings and seminars, both national and international, youth exchanges, ESC, European voluntary service and on employee mobility projects in the field of Vocational Education and Training, as well as practical work experience. We work in the field of non-formal education for over 20 years.
The employees are involved in supporting young people through non-formal educational methods, in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as cooperation with organizations, both local and national as well as from different countries in the field of training for youth and youth workers, EVS, seminars, conferences, youth exchanges and practical job experience (Job shadowing) for those working with youth, study visits and professional mobility of adults. From 2011-2014, the organization hosted interns from France, as part of the Leonardo Da Vinci program and trainees in the civil service from France and Italy. Furthermore, the organization carries professional internships on the basis of VET program, in its office.
Perfil: Young people 18 - 30 yo -> EU citizens/ Citizens of countries neighbouring EU/ Citizens with official residence in a EU country.

Tarefas: A ESC activity that involves citizens/residents of EU coutries in the work of our NGO, promoting education, equality, citizenship & inclusion while supporting our local community. By taking part in this project, volunteers will be involved in:
- support the organization in local regional project happening in the season as well as daily office work: - Creation of videos & audio-visual tools for dissemination of our work; Support YouthMaSter (seminar for students + non-formal education methods)
- Support different events in the region;
- Lead activities together with our local partners (municipality, museums, house of culture...);
- Promote their culture in different events;
- Organize activities for children/teenagers;
- Support the maintenance of the building, office and garden.
Condições: Volunteers live in a house, in a small village. The house is at 1min distance from a bus stop and at 20min walk to the train station. Housing is in shared rooms, there are multiple bathrooms and a large equipped kitchen. The house has a laundry area w/ washing machines, reading corner, smart tv, ping-pong table, bikes & wi-fi. Outside there's a garden and backyard with bonfire, and 1 small football & basketball court. The organization covers ransport costs connected to project activities. Volunteers receive food money & pocket money every 2 weeks.
