Resumo: Open Interaction Association (Sofia, Bulgaria) is very experienced
non-profit organization which has done many projects for young people and
volunteering on National and International level. We work with people with
disabilities and mainly with youngsters with hearing impairments. For more

The main activities will be working within and with different
organizations for people with disabilities and contacting with different
social networks and institutions. Also as you know 2012 is European Year
for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations. That's why we plan
to organize a lot of activities between the volunteers and older people.
This way they can show and teach each other different skills and knowledge.

Perfil: we're searching 1 boy (between 18 -30).

There will be advantage
for volunteers with hearing impairments or people who have friends or
someone from the family with disabilities. Also people have experience in
social activities.

MOST IMPORTANT: we are looking somebody who REALLY likes to be with and willing to work with people and youngsters with disabilities.

Tarefas: Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
During the stay of the volunteers, OIA will include them in all activities that OIA held in working with people with hearing impairments, at that time.

Open Interaction Association works on various projects and initiatives on diversity donor programs. Basically, the role of volunteers will be determined at the time of the current activities and initiatives that the team of OIA realizes.

The organization will meet and hear any idea of volunteers and subject to innovation and usefulness of his/ her suggestions will be provided opportunities for their realization - a place for their implementation, office equipment, representative of OIA, who will assist the volunteers, their contact with appropriate people, institutions and organizations.

For example: - support pupils from the school for deaf children in various activities -, photography, art, eco activities, sports, social activities etc..;
- Participation in the preparation of various events of adult deaf people to help them organizing and conducting;

Condições: - Accommodation:
Volunteer will live with others volunteers in their own big flat in the Center of Sofia. There are all equipments, kitchen and bathrooms. Room will be double.

Formação: - Training courses:
we offer a lot of possibilities to participate in special workshops and training (about working with people with
disabilities, making project, etc)

- Language course: Bulgarian-100 hours per person. Sign language and International sign language during the whole project
- Personal support - mentor, coordinator of work , coordinator of project
