Resumo: Main Aim (Volunteers’ task):
To introduce and involve the volunteer in different activities conducted by Association DRONI, however main focus will empowering local projects and DRONIs local volunteers (DRONI has up to 110 registered volunteers - January of 2010):
• Support organization to implement different activities for young refugee students
• Help organization to do office work
• Realize activities for local volunteers and students
Organize outdoor activities, Training courses and other non-formal activities for young people from refugee camps(in camps living Georgian and Ossetian Refugees after Georgian-Russian war in summer 2008), located nearby Tbilisi

Perfil: English is the working language of the project,a minimum of intermediate level of English is required. The applicant should demonstrate enthusiasm,curiosity, willingness to learn and work in an international team. Willingness to work with the local communities and disadvantaged.

Tarefas: Main Objectives of the project are:
• To promote the volunteering among DRONIs members, and across the Georgian communities;
• To assist DRONI’s team in improving quality of volunteering at local level;
• Conduct interviews and application process for local member of DRONI (each member of the organisation has to fill out the registration form and has to be interviewed in English language)
• To make presentations on YiA program, particularly on EVS possibility among DRONI’s members and other young people (in universities, youth centres);
• To help DRONI’s fundraising team to develop projects at all level on HRE, youth Participation, Volunteering and other topics related to youth;
• Developing volunteers’ skills in effective communication and providing space t learn local language;
• Raising awareness of cultural diversity in Georgia in general;
• To provide the educational activities for DRONI’s volunteers on weekly meetings;
• To evaluate DRONI’s implemented;
• Improve EVS volunteer’s general competence (knowledge, skills, and attitude) and create a environment where she will be able to multiply gained competences among local multipliers;
• To develope the volunteer’s active citizenship and creative skills through participating in organization’s multiplying activities
• To improve quality of organizing training courses and seminars,
• the inclusion of young people with less opportunities into non-formal learning activities,
• All above mentioned objectives are directly related to the priorities of Youth in Action, as in project will be involved young refugees, with fewer opportunities.

Horário: The office is run on everyday basis, from 11 to 6 p.m. working hours of a volunteers are flexible. There can be sometimes work during weekends (training, seminars, informational meeting) with possible taking days off after. Volunteers will have own space at the office; will be provided with personal computer or laptop and printer.

The work in the office is very varied and our aim is to find tasks suitable for nature of the volunteer and not to be overwhelming her/his with too many tasks, too easy tasks or to boring tasks.

In order to achieve above mentioned objectives which are directly related to the priorities of EVS DRONI will take care of:

To provide the trainings and educational activities for the EVS volunteer on:
• Fundraising & project designing;
• project management;
• presenting European youth Foundation, Youth in Action and other youth funds;
• Human rights education;
• Youth participation;
• Peace-building and conflict transformation;
• How to use Media equipments;
• Will involve her/him in international trainings, seminars and study visits;
• Providing space to develop own ideas and projects according to volunteers interest;
• Regular communication with DRONI’s local and foreign volunteers;
• will provide her/him contacts at all level (local, regional, national, International) in order to establish and improve business and friendly relationship;
• Taking part in preparation and follow up of the DRONI projects, organizing living library;
• knowing better Georgian NGO's (through platforms DRONI is involved in);
• Special lessons to learn Georgian.
