Resumo: (Living community;Mental disabilities; Biodynamic workshops; Inclusion)
The hosting organization is a vibrant living community for adults with mental disabilities, located in the small village. The residents are fully integrated into village life, and the rhythm of the local community is closely connected to the daily activities of Hertha.

The project consists of two houses with 19 residents, aged mainly 18–30. Their disabilities vary from mild to more complex intellectual and psychological challenges. Some residents also have minor physical impairments, but all are mobile. Each person has their own level of independence, communication ability, and support needs.

The organization’s aim is to provide a meaningful, structured, and social everyday life where residents and volunteers participate in shared work, creativity, nature, and community.

Perfil: + Age: 18-30
+ Open, tolerant, and positive, with a genuine interest in people
+ Calm, patient, and reliable, able to adapt to different situations
+ Motivated to support adults with mental disabilities in daily life and workshops
+ Interested in nature, gardening, or practical work (baking, cooking, outdoor tasks)
+ Social and willing to join a small community and take part in shared activities
+ Flexible and ready to learn from experienced pedagogues

Music skills (playing an instrument) are appreciated but not required. Non-smokers only.

Tarefas: Volunteers live on-site and become part of the community’s daily rhythm.

Your main tasks:
+ Supporting residents in workshops (bakery, garden, kitchen)
+ Helping with daily routines and activities
+ Participating in community social life
+ Being a driver for activities (if licensed)
+ Offering small creative or musical activities if interested
+ Assisting with practical tasks around the houses

Volunteers receive ongoing supervision and guidance from trained pedagogues with experience in special needs support.
